Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize in Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and other tools for gathering in order to provide attributes or other bonuses while the equipment being used. The equipment being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be at the specified level. Some upgrade components also have special visual effects when they are added to an equipment piece. upgrade item can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, salvaged from equipment, or obtained as rewards in games.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used on any kind of equipment, and offer lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, and enrichments can be used on some back equipment that has been ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs that can only be placed into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters as well as regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes, registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives a character boost in their primary stats. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item. Make sure you select the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has an array of different Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level, you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated bonus and will also boost all the other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled which is why they're worth checking out for too.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the options to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing a new account in order to increase your chances of obtaining a character or weapon you want. This can be done to help you level up faster or to obtain more loot, for example, an improved weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of its power. This could be due to the fact that they like the character's design or character.
When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you're making are clear. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks, and you should also conduct a core development check. You should also upload the patch to an issue by using plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls may take a few days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. During this time, it is recommended to avoid enemy camps that are optional to save time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that can be completed later in the game. This will save time and energy.
Another important consideration when rerolling is to be sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are item upgrading to improve your character's strength and appearance. This includes upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and purchasing upgrades. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling isn't a necessity but it's an effective way to increase your chances of getting the right character or weapon. You can use it to find the best character or to play around with different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of a class). Sets allow for operations like intersection, union and difference.
Upgrades make a set item better than it was before. This means that weapons and armor will have a higher defense value and less strength requirements.
Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets up to parity with items in higher-level sets. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are good candidates for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff are already exceptional and elite in their own right and do not need upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. For such items, it could be worth the cost to upgrade them.
